Skills India Human Resource Management LLP (“Skills India HRM”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates the website and portals at skillsindiahrm.com for overseas recruitment, migration & visa support, training and study-abroad services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it and the choices available to you.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors of our public website, registered job candidates, employer organisations using our employer portal, and authorised staff or agents who access our admin or staff dashboards.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the platform, we may collect:
- Candidates: identity and contact details (name, date of birth, gender, nationality, address, phone, email); family and emergency contacts; passport and travel documents; government IDs where required for placement or compliance (for example Aadhaar or PAN); education, work history, skills, languages and job preferences; photographs; uploaded documents (CV, certificates, PCC, medical or trade certificates); interview and pipeline status; and service-fee or payment records related to your applications.
- Employers: company profile, trade licence and tax documents, contact persons, billing and payment terms, hiring preferences, job orders, interview feedback and submitted agreements or NDAs.
- Account & security: login credentials (stored in hashed form), OTP verification via SMS or email, role and permission data, and session or device metadata needed to keep accounts secure.
- Website enquiries: name, phone, email, subject and message when you use our contact form or subscribe to updates.
- Technical data: cookie consent preferences and, if you allow them, analytics or marketing identifiers. See our Cookie Policy.
3. How we use your information
- Create and manage candidate, employer and staff accounts.
- Match candidates to overseas job openings, run interviews and track recruitment pipeline stages.
- Verify documents, support visa and migration processes, and meet MEA and other regulatory requirements applicable to overseas recruitment.
- Process service fees, employer billing and related payment records.
- Respond to enquiries, send service updates and improve our website and portals.
- Protect the platform against fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal data. We may share information only as needed to operate our services, including with:
- Prospective employers and their authorised contacts for roles you apply to or are shortlisted for.
- Licensed partners, training providers or agents involved in placement, visa or study-abroad processes you request.
- Technology and communications providers (for example hosting, OTP/SMS or email delivery) under appropriate confidentiality and security controls.
- Professional advisers, auditors or authorities when required by law, regulation or to protect our legal rights.
5. Sensitive documents and identifiers
Passport copies, government IDs, medical and police clearance documents are collected only where reasonably necessary for recruitment, employer review or regulatory compliance. Access is limited to authorised staff and, where appropriate, the employer reviewing your candidature. You should upload only documents we request and ensure they are accurate and current.
6. Legal bases and retention
We process personal data to perform contracts or pre-contractual steps (registration, applications, placements), to comply with legal obligations, and where necessary for our legitimate interests in operating a secure recruitment platform—balanced against your rights. We retain data for as long as your account is active and thereafter for the period required for legal, regulatory, dispute-resolution or audit purposes, then delete or anonymise it where feasible.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold, including authenticated access controls for portals and encrypted transmission of data over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please protect your login credentials and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable Indian law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Account holders can update many profile details from their portal. For other requests, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Children
Our services are intended for adults seeking employment, employer representatives and authorised staff. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for registration or job applications.
10. International transfers
Because we facilitate overseas placement, your data may be shared with employers or partners outside India in connection with opportunities you pursue. By using the platform and submitting applications, you acknowledge that such sharing may be necessary to deliver the requested service.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
