Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Skills India Human Resource Management LLP (“Skills India HRM”, “we”, “us” or “our”) website, candidate portal, employer portal, staff tools and related overseas recruitment, migration, training and study-abroad services. By accessing or using the platform, creating an account, or accepting these Terms during registration, you agree to be bound by them.

1. About our services

Skills India HRM provides MEA-aligned overseas recruitment and related support, including job listings, candidate screening, employer job orders, interviews, document management, visa pipeline assistance, training and study-abroad guidance. We act as a recruitment and facilitation platform; we are not the employer of candidates unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must provide accurate, complete and current information when registering as a candidate, employer or other authorised user.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, misuse the platform, or violate these Terms or applicable law.
  • Employer accounts may require verification, document submission and acceptance of commercial terms before full access to hiring features is granted.

3. Candidate terms

  • You authorise us to process your profile, documents and application data to match you with suitable openings and to share relevant information with prospective employers and authorised partners for those opportunities.
  • Submitting an application or completing registration does not guarantee a job offer, visa approval, interview or placement. Outcomes depend on employer decisions, eligibility, documentation and third-party authorities.
  • You must upload only genuine documents and keep passport, certificates and contact details up to date. Misrepresentation may lead to rejection or removal from the pipeline.
  • Any service fees, training fees or other charges will be communicated before payment. Fees paid for completed services are generally non-refundable except where required by law or a written fee policy we publish for a specific service.

4. Employer terms

  • Employers confirm that company information, licences and hiring requirements submitted through the portal are accurate and lawful.
  • Job orders, candidate reviews, interviews and visa-related requests must comply with applicable employment, anti-discrimination and immigration rules in the relevant jurisdictions.
  • Candidate data shared with you is confidential and may be used only for evaluating and hiring for the roles you posted or approved. You must not sell, publish or reuse candidate data for unrelated purposes.
  • Payment terms, agreement type and commercial obligations may be set out in a separate employer agreement, MSA or invoice schedule. Those documents prevail over these Terms where they conflict on commercial matters.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, documents or data belonging to others.
  • Scrape, harvest or bulk-export content or personal data except through features we expressly provide.
  • Upload malware, interfere with service integrity, or reverse engineer the platform except as permitted by law.
  • Impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with Skills India HRM.

6. Documents and content

You retain ownership of documents and content you upload, but grant us a limited licence to host, process, display and share that content as needed to provide our services (including with employers and partners involved in your placement process). Website content, branding, software and CMS materials remain our property or that of our licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

7. Third-party services

The platform may rely on third-party services such as OTP/SMS providers, payment processors, hosting or analytics tools. Their use of data is governed by their own terms and our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of overseas employers, embassies, medical centres or other third parties outside our control.

8. Disclaimers

The platform and public website content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular hiring outcome. Job descriptions, salary indications and timelines are indicative and may change based on employer or regulatory requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Skills India HRM and its partners, officers and staff shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, opportunity or goodwill arising from your use of the platform or from employer or authority decisions. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the platform shall not exceed the fees you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the three months preceding the claim (or INR 5,000 if no such fees were paid), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skills India HRM from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

11. Privacy and cookies

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Cookie and similar technology use is described in our Cookie Policy.

12. Changes

We may revise these Terms to reflect service, legal or operational changes. Material updates will be reflected by revising the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance, except where additional consent is required by law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kochi, Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or use of the platform, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
